Experience

Background: I am a skilled facilitator with nine years experience in process facilitation. I have consulted to and facilitating workshops for Fortune 500 companies as well as community, educational and non-governmental organizations.

I have conducted multi-day workshops for groups of up to 160 in Singapore, Sweden, Panama, Mexico, Nepal, the United States and Canada.

Design Work: I started in human centered design and usability for software and digital media, but have contributed to design and strategy projects involving:

  • Traditional marketing and communications
  • Urban planning and design
  • Interior and environmental design
  • Service design

I have worked in sectors and vertical industries including:

  • Automotive, hospitality and tourism, healthcare, personal and business finance
  • Consumer electronics, computers,  consumer and enterprise software
  • Non-profit and non-governmental organizations
  • Local, municipal, provincial and federal governments

Techniques, Training and Certification: I draw on facilitation techniques from the Technology of Participation, Open Space Technology, design charrettes, the World Cafe and classic mediation. Training includes:
